Ella's Restaurant offers high quality food in an upscale casual setting. We have seating for 250-300 people total in three separate dining rooms. Each of the main floor dining rooms seats 125 people comfortably, and the first floor Classroom seats 65. Our Lounge with its casual setting and comfortable couches is available for private events before 3pm and can seat up to 55 people. We also have a separate facility located on historic Dickson Street called the UARK Ballroom that can accommodate up to 350 people.
The West Dining Room is the complement to Ella's main dining room. It is the same dimensions and is available for lunch or dinner. The first floor Classroom is available every evening and on weekends. Contact Bethany Capps, Director of Special Events, for pricing information. Lunch rental of the Classroom is available on academic breaks and during the summer months. The classroom has A/V capabilities including a SmartBoard, LCD projector, VCR, and PC with PowerPoint. All equipment in the classroom is available for use at no extra charge. The room rental fee for either room will include table arrangement, linens, glassware, etc. as well as setup and breakdown of the room, and general cleaning of the rental space.
The menu cost for your group will depend on the specific items chosen- simply tell us what you would like to serve and we will put together an estimate. We will include all applicable charges- beverage, tax, and service charge.
We do ask that any space rented be used for food service; whether it is a sit down meal or hors d'oeuvres service is entirely at your discretion. Ella's Restaurant is a privately owned company and provides all food and beverages served in Carnall Hall. We have a staff of trained chefs who will personally prepare each item to be served at your event. If you have ideas for food items not on our menu, just ask- we will do our best to cater to your desires.

We have additional meeting space in the building conveniently located next to The Inn at Carnall Hall, with a wide range of accommodations. This space includes a 100 seat auditorium with state of the art audio visual equipment that is connected to large foyer that is great for break out sessions . Two meeting rooms with video conferencing capabilities are available. The Dean's conference room can accommodate up to 15 people.
There are also 4 computer labs available for those meetings that require everyone to have a computer. Please call for pricing information.
Have a fabulous time while your spouse is attending meetings at our location. Our Spouse Event Planning Service can arrange an array of activities according to what you and your group are interested in, including trips to Eureka Springs, golf, massage, pedicure and manicures or even a train ride to Van Buren.
